As one of Vancouver’s most prominent landmarks, Canada Place is a vibrant hub of activity. It offers an interactive educational journey through Canada’s rich history, so with hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, it’s vital for all signage to be attention-grabbing, colourful, instantly clear and helpful to the public.

I designed a variety of Canada Place marketing materials for events such as: Christmas at Canada Place, Waterfront Yoga, Aboriginal Celebration, and CanadaFest. Designs were used for:

  • custom illustrations/icons
  • 4×8 directional signage
  • wayfinding signage
  • outdoor digital signage
  • newspaper advertisements
  • social media graphics
  • event posters
  • e-newsletter designs

Back for the 3rd year in a row, I designed marketing materials for the 27th Annual Canada Day at Canada Place. With an estimated 300,000 people attending the festivities, it was vital to create eye-catching, informative displays that reflect the Canadian spirit. 2014 designs included:

  • Canada Day at Canada Place logo
  • 8 page event booklet
  • Custom illustrations/icons
  • 4×8 directional signage
  • Wayfinding signage
  • Outdoor digital signage
  • Main stage scrim
  • Community stage scrim
  • Celebration stage scrim
  • Salty’s Market signage and illustrations for interactive activities
  • Canadian Forces Zones signage
  • Go Canada Sports Zone signage
  • Fireworks signage
  • Vancouver Sun advertisements
  • Social media graphics
  • Event poster
  • E-newsletter designs
  • Volunteer & production t-shirts
  • 24 page post event report
