As long as Anne can remember she has always loved creating art and believes that she was born with a crayon in her hand. Her passion for art has only grown stronger over the years and she now enjoys devoting much of her time to painting or teaching art.
While living in Abbotsford for 20 years, Anne had been a member of the Fraser Valley Watermedia Society. Recently after moving to Cloverdale, Anne decided to join two new groups in the area; the Port Kells Art Club and the South Surrey Whiterock Art Society. Anne favorite medium will always be watercolour but also enjoys painting in acrylic, oil, as well as soft pastel.
In 2008, Anne started her life long dream of teaching children with the Lucas Academy of Music and the Arts in Abbotsford, BC. She also taught with the Abbotsford Rec Centre (ARC) for a few summers. As well as, Anne taught art lessons for adults and children through her own studio, AK White Studio in Abbotsford. In 2018, Anne and her husband Jeff took a year off to live in Belize. Belize offered many incredible adventures which included snorkeling where Anne took numerous underwater photos. Now that they have returned to Canada, Anne has many beautiful memories and photos that will be inspiration for future paintings. Although she misses teaching, Anne is enjoying taking the time to paint every day.
